Danielle Neal launched her social media marketing business Digital with Danielle as a side hustle in August 2020. The 25-year-old was a full-time teacher, but in May 2021, she decided to quit her job and pursue her business full time.

In less than a year from that decision, the Baltimore, Maryland-based entrepreneur is bringing in about $6,000 in revenue. She got there by raising her hand, overcoming imposter syndrome and staying true to her passions.

Times of E reporter Skyler Rossi interviewed Neal on Jan. 4 in a Zoom call about her journey building Digital with Danielle. She shares how she navigated finding the right price point, building a support network and finding her customer base.
